Terms and conditions – Vernier, Lausanne & Morges
THESE BELOW TERMS & CONDITIONS ARE ONLY APPLICABLE FOR OUR POOL THAT USE A TERM-BASED SYSTEM (VERNIER, LAUSANNE & MORGES).

Facilities
-
The facilities in Lausanne Flon, Morges and Vernier (Geneva) are rented physiotherapy pools. Unfortunately, they do not have all the features of our Bellevue pool. (eg: no coffee, juices, viewing room, colourful pool, play area for children).

Bookings
-
These facilities operate on a term-based system, meaning that once you register for a full term, your chosen time slot is fixed until the term ends. Changes to the time slot are only possible if your child has been placed in the wrong level.

The time slot reserved during booking remains fixed for the whole term.

You must choose a new time and class at the start of each term.

Bookings are validated once payment has gone through.

Returning students - and their siblings - will be given priority; then returning students and new customers.

Payment
-
Term payments are processed at the time of booking through direct debit.

Payments are card-only via the family portal's payment gateway.
-
Term cost will be dependent on the number of lessons in the term.

If you join after the term has started, you will be charged immediately for the remaining lessons.

Unsuccessful payment attempts will result in removal of the booking after 5 days.

Missed lessons

No credits, make-ups, or refunds are provided for missed lessons
Credits and Refunds
-
Credits are applied to your family account and valid for 5 years.

Credits cannot be exchanged for a refund.

Discounts
-
Sibling discounts are available for ongoing bookings.

10% off for the second child

20% off for the third child
-
30% off for subsequent children
-
Discounts do not apply to other programs, such as holiday intensive programs, prenatal classes, Janzu, etc.

Lesson changes
-
Once your class is booked, changes cannot be made.

New students are assessed on their first lesson to check their level is correct. If the level is incorrect we will do our best to accommodate a new class. If a new class time cannot be found, your registration will be cancelled. If parents do not accept a new class time table, RW reserves the right to cancel it.

In the case where a class has not filled before the term starts, we may contact you to consolidate our scheduling and provide you an alternative time. If we cannot find an appropriate time, your booking will be cancelled and payment refunded.

Cancellation Policy

Once your booking is confirmed, cancellation is not possible.

If you are a new customer, and you are not satisfied with your experience, you can cancel your registration within 24 hours of the FIRST lesson you attend, and a refund will be provided for the remaining lessons in the term.
Cancellation – Medical
-
With a medical certificate supplied at least 3 days before term commences, we will cancel your registration and refund your payment.
Prolonged absence – Medical
-
Once term has commenced, with a medical certificate covering the remainder of the term, your booking will be cancelled and a credit applied on your Red Whale account for the lessons remaining in the term.

Credits cannot be applied retrospectively; prompt notification is crucial.
Unexpected Pool Closure or Lesson Disruption:

In case of a pool incident (technical or hygienic) hindering normal lessons, you will receive a credit for the affected lesson(s) on your next invoice.

RW reserves the right to modify class schedules if necessary. A course credit may be granted if the start time of the class is modified by more than one hour.
Health, Safety and Conduct

Everyone must adhere to safety directives from the Red Whale team.

Parents and guardians of children swimming independently are required to supervise their children outside of lesson times and must remain on-site during lessons. For parent-child lessons, children remain under the supervision of their parents throughout the session and within the pool.

Any children not participating in lessons must be supervised by an adult at all times.

Red Whale instructors may suspend or terminate a lesson for any child or parent that the instructor determines to be disruptive, unsafe or violent. In the event of severe or repeated disruptions, a child or parent may be barred from rejoining their lessons without seeking prior approval from the Red Whale management team.

Help maintain a clean environment by keeping parking, viewing, and changing areas tidy. Report any concerns to our team.

Health Guidelines

Children in parent and child classes must wear double nappies - one disposable swim nappy and one neoprene nappy over the top.

Ensure good health for yourself and your children attending lessons.

Children with any infectious conditions or open wounds are not permitted in the pool and will be asked to leave the pool.

Notify the instructors of any medical conditions or allergies that may affect the child's participation.

Consult a doctor before returning to lessons. Show consideration for others’ health and well-being.

Filming and Photography

Strictly no filming or photography allowed for the safety and privacy of all individuals within our facility. Monitoring is in place to enforce this policy.
Termination of Subscription

We reserve the right to terminate your subscription or refuse service if there are violations of our terms and conditions or for any other reason.
Amendments
-
We conduct regular reviews of our terms and conditions. Any updates will be communicated via email and will be effective immediately upon communication.
